Kat Alano appears in the Jan-Feb 2008 issue of Action & Fitness. What a beauty! The magazine is really hard to find. I only got this for free from their event in Bonifacio High Street. After reading it and seeing Kat, I became an instant fan - of her and the magazine. Katherine Anne Brown Alano (born July 9, 1985), called as Kat Alano, is an Anglo-Filipino model, actress and television presenter in the Philippines. She has an English mother and a Filipino father.
Kat lived in Birmingham, England, then in Hong Kong. When she came to the Philippines, she started her modeling career in Bayo ads and then in the Metro Body Calendar. She competed in the Miss Batangas competition in 2004 and won the title. Also that year, she won the Studio 23 VJ Hunt along with Beau Canlas, Ayanna Oliva and Juddha Paolo, which was her major break. After that stint, she became one of the first official co-hosts of Wowowee, along with Iya Villania, Janelle Jamer, and later Cheena. With that opportunity, another door opened for her when she became a part of Studio 23's show E-Club.
Currently, she is an MTV Philippines' VJ and a host in Cinema One's VIP Pass. She lives in Batangas.
